This annual clinic series is designed to introduce students to safe methods of traveling and ascending in and on Alaskan mountains and glaciers. This 7-week course will be taught twice a week, with class lectures during the evenings and field clinics on Saturdays. The course syllabus and gear list for Spring 2024 can be found below.

Important Info:

  • Dates: January 24-March 3

  • Schedule: Classes Wednesday 7:00-8:30 pm, Clinics on Saturday

  • Cost: $150 in cash by the first day of instruction.

    • Additional $10 for annual AAC membership, if not already paid.

  • 40 Seats Maximum
